Want to participate in DISH 2015? Send us your proposal!
Keep in mind the main theme, Money and Power, and subthemes of DISH2015 and let us know how your organisation, project, idea, vision, et cetera, might fit within the program. We have quite a few ways for you to participate:
Table session: Be a digital hero/table chef and discussion leader. Tell a small audience of maximum 18 people about your ideas, project or plans and give them room to discuss. The idea is 50% speaker time, 50% discussion time. The session lasts 25 minutes and will be given twice (during one afternoon). To give us an idea of your session we ask you to pick one of the four subthemes and write a short proposal (maximum 250 words) for your session.Workshop session: Give an in depth lecture about your ideas, project or plans and let the audience (of maximum 50 people) interact with or discus about your subject. A workshop session lasts one hour. To give us an idea of your session proposal we ask you to pick one of the four subthemes and write a short proposal (maximum 250 words).Posters session: Have 1:1 conversations with the participants about your ideas, project or plans. Poster sessions will be held during lunch breaks and in the early afternoon. To give us an idea of your session we’d like you to write a short proposal (maximum 250 words).Ignite talks: “Enlighten us, but make it quick!”. Ignite talks are 5 minute talks containing 20 slides. They are about one specific subject or project and are meant to ignite, inspire or otherwise excite the audience (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignite_(event)). Ignite talks will be held plenary in a 30 minute session after lunch on both days of the conference. To give us an idea of your session we’d like you to write a short proposal (maximum 250 words).Improvisation session: Performances? Hack-a-thons? Maker Faires? Other interactions or services? Propose any other format of participation + explain how it works. We’re open to new ideas. We have room for two improvisation session on both days of the conference and they will last one hour.
